Profile:
The Prodigy are an English electronic dance music group formed in 1990 by mastermind Liam Howlett. Together with other acts, among them The Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy are considered as pioneers of the big beat genre, which became mainstream very popular in the 1990s. The Prodigy use many styles in their big beat performance such as rave, hardcore techno, industrial and breakbeat, later in their career adopting also electronic rock with punk vocals, the latter due to the presence of vocalists Maxim and Flint.
