Profile:

The Trio Of Stridence was an improvisational music band that came into existence in early 2002. Guitarist Alex Masi was invited down to The Kibitz Room at Canter's Deli, Los Angeles to perform improvisation and jam with other musicians that regularly played there. Masi was soon joined by drummer Paul Marangoni, and after a few weeks of playing they began to jam every time to time, when their schedules would permit. Their performances were very appreciated by the local public and they went on until the end of 2004 with a regular bassist that was chosen in the person of Jeffrey Allan. Paul Marangoni decided in 2005 to record on a proper CD their best performances and in 2006 it was released under the title "Pastrami Standards".
