Profile: Tony Levin is known for his innovative approach to the bass. Levin has been the pioneer of the use of Chapman Stick and electric bass and he is the founder of a technique for playing the bass with chopsticks known as "funk fingers". Levin is a bass player with an excellent reputation, known for the way that combines great technique with a great musical sense of groove and a good dose of sense of humor. Levin collaborates with many artists (Seal, Peter Gabriel, Michael Schenker Group, Liquid Tension Experiment, Pink Floyd, John Lennon, Andy Summers, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Paul Simon, and others) and he hs also a solo career , but his name is particularly associated with King Crimson.
