Profile:
|
Everything begins with "The Stalkers", a band with the guitarist Mick Box and the vocalist David Byron. When the group broke up, they founded the "Spice", with bassist Paul Newton, and later the drummer Alex Napier. At one of their shows there's also the music producer Gerry Bron. Bron suggests them a keyboard player, he'll be Ken Hensley. The band name will be changed in Uriah Heep, the name suggested by Bron (who will become their manager) that borrowed it from the novel "David Copperfield".
