An album too often underrated, unjustly underestimated. Balance is the last album with Sammy Hagar as lead singer, then replaced by the former lead singer of Extreme ... but this is another story, and I'll talk about it in another review. Balance is not a masterpiece, but it's a good album with good songs, some very good, and probably it's the work with the most beautiful lyrics in all Van Halen's discography. Balance is an album that deserves to be listened without prejudice, we'll see then that songs such as Can not Stop Lovin' You, Do not Tell Me (What Love Can Do) and Not enaugh, are among the most interesting written by Van Halen since early eighties.
