For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge is up to their reputation, it's true that this work is too many times under evaluated.

Under-evaluated... I consider this album their peak for various reasons. Mostly because it really came out when the band was definetively mature in my opinion, after the "glamorous" 80s and the uncertain first steps with Hagar. Sammy gives his best here but all the band is great. Highlights: Poundcake, Right Now (one of the top 5 VH songs for me), Pleasure Dome.
