Velvet Revolver is a successful American hard rock band formed by former Guns N' Roses members Slash, Duff McKagan, and Matt Sorum, Wasted Youth's Dave Kushner and Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland. Their commercial success was immediate, also due to the big sensation Velvet Revolver formation caused in the whole rock scene (all its members were at the peak of their fame). The band knows long periods of hiatus, since all its members are busy in other projects (solo careers and membership in other rock bands) but they never officially disbanded.
