Italian folk singer/songwriter Vinicio Capossela will start his summer tour on the solstice of 21 June from Tivoli (Rome, Italy). His new album “Marinai, Profeti e Balene” is at the moment on top of the sales charts in Italy and it's having a fair success all over Europe, too. Vinicio's new album and tour are permeated of tales about the sea, its mysteries and its inhabitants, islands and sailors, the whole concept also inspired by the poetry of Omero, Dante, Conrad, Melville. Capossela himself claims he has been "surrounded by sea monsters for all these years", since his masterpiece "Ovunque Proteggi" (2006), and now "saved by a Siren". The tale goes on and on... for one of the best and uncompromised Italian artist.
