When I first put this album on my record player I was hit by this masterpiece; this is still one of my top 10 records. I've never been to the USA and I hope I'll go at least once in my life, but in 1992 I could figure what the atmosphere was like, listening to Warrior Soul. Surely a different point of view from what I imagined as a 19 year old boy, but it opened my mind on the post Gulf war feelings, on the Bush(es) era, on the ghetto nation, on the American way (which in part is the whole Western way). I still believe all USA must be a great place to visit, but like every place in the world it also needs some "cleaning", and someone who can tell what needs to be cleaned. This is exactly what Warrior Soul represented to me, a different (opposite) approach as opposed to the prevailing view. As concerns the music each song is slap in your face, listen to Love Desctruction, Blown, the assault of Punk And Belligerent, Ass Kicking, I Love You and Trip Rider, the startling Shine Like It and The Golden Shore.  Punk, heavy metal, some psychedelia, everything in it. And the fantastic final 2 songs: "We're the ones you've forgotten, we'll dance on your tombs", "Salutations from the Ghetto nation, buy a ticket get the reservation".
Don't have their first album and I know most fans think it is their best, but I can't imagine one better than Ghetto Nation and Space Age Playboys!!!
Hope to see the live at leat once in my life!!!
