His father is Eddie Van Halen, his oncle is Alex Van Halen and this couldn't lead Wolfgang William Van Halen to anything else apart being a member of hard rock band Van Halen... which he became in 2006, aged 16, replacing long time bassist Michael Anthony. His first name was given after Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart by his parents Eddie Van Halen and American actress Valerie Bertinelli.
