Wynton Kelly is perhaps best known for his work and his collaboration with Miles Davis in the '50s. He played both as a sideman and as a leader. As a sideman Kelly has often collaborated with musicians such as Cannonball Adderley, Nat Adderley, Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, amongst others. As a leader, his first release was "Piano Interpretations", published in 1951.
