Born Adelmo Fornaciari, he is one of the best known Italian musician/singer in the world. He started his brilliant career selling millions of copies of his records in Italy in the last seventies and early eighties. His style became famous and particular, because he started combining "italo-pop" with American soul and blues. With his 1987 album Blues's, Zucchero became the best selling artist ever in Italy and he began collaborating with the most notorious rock blues artists in the world. His best known hit "Senza una donna" ("Without a Woman"), in a duet with Paul Young in 1991, gave Zucchero the final international fame, and from that year on every album and single has been a success. He went on collaborating with the best artists 'till present time, also famous for his friendship and artistic liason with one the best tenors ever, Luciano Pavarotti. In summer 2011 his brand new world tour in support of his last studio album will kick off from Arena di Verona, Italy.
